How Does LED Phototherapy Work?
Phototherapy, the therapeutic application of light, is based on the principle that cells absorb and respond to specific wavelengths of light, influencing cellular activity and biological function. Its mechanism of action is often compared to photosynthesis, where light energy is absorbed and converted into cellular energy through a process known as photobiomodulation.
LED phototherapy involves exposure to specific wavelengths (nanometers) within the visible (color) and near-infrared (invisible) spectrum of light. Each wavelength is absorbed by specialized cellular target molecules called chromophores, triggering specific biological responses, including increased cellular energy production (ATP), modulation of inflammation, enhanced repair and regeneration, and improved microcirculation.

Ik heb een toename in patiënttevredenheid geconstateerd na de introductie van Dermalux Tri-Wave MD, omdat de hersteltijd na multidisciplinaire behandelingen met de helft is verkort. Het wondhelend vermogen is ongeëvenaard. Bovendien heb ik nog nooit zo'n effectieve behandeling voor ontstoken huid en rosacea gezien.
