Can I use C-Tetra Advanced if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
As a cosmetics company we are unable to provide product advice for medical conditions such as pregnancy or breastfeeding. As a general guideline, this product does not contain any ingredients that we would need to avoid during pregnancy unless otherwise advised by your doctor.
Can I combine C-Tetra Advanced with Liquid Peptides Advanced MP in the morning?
Yes, you can. C-Tetra Advanced and Liquid Peptides Advanced MP are both emulsion-based serums, but C-Tetra Advanced has a slightly thicker texture. We recommend applying serums in order of thinnest to thickest consistency. Therefore, apply Liquid Peptides Advanced MP first, followed by C-Tetra Advanced.
Does C-Tetra Advanced contain fragrances/essential oils?
C-Tetra Advanced is free from artificial fragrances, but does contain a natural, uplifting citrus scent derived from essential oils. The scent is refreshing and is designed to enhance your experience and provide an energizing start to your morning skincare routine. If you are familiar with our C-Tetra and C-Tetra Luxe serums, you can expect to smell the same scent.
Where can I use C-Tetra Advanced in my routine?
C-Tetra Advanced should be applied in the morning after cleansing and toning, but before moisturizer and sunscreen. If you are using multiple serums, we recommend applying them in order of thinnest to thickest. Because C-Tetra Advanced is an emulsion, it should be applied over water- and oil-based serums. This way, your skin will get the most out of each product.
Can I use C-Tetra Advanced if I have never used vitamin C before?
Absolutely. Although C-Tetra Advanced contains a whopping 20% vitamin C, it is formulated with a very mild form of vitamin C, THDA (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate), which is suitable for all skin types, even if you are new to vitamin C. It also contains many mild active ingredients, such as phyto-exosomes, which have soothing properties and support the skin barrier. C-Tetra Advanced has also been proven to be mild on all skin types in independent clinical and consumer tests. This means that anyone can use C-Tetra Advanced without fear of irritation.
I think there is still product in my bottle that I can't get with the pump. What should I do?
Because C-Tetra Advanced is a light emulsion, it is slightly thicker than water-based serums and may therefore flow more slowly. However, it is designed to be used with a pump, so it should still dispense easily. If there is any residual product that the pump is not dispensing, you can unscrew the pump and turn the bottle upside down to pour out the remaining product. This should not be necessary unless you have almost used up the product.
