This treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes and consists of:

During the LED session, we choose the program that best suits your skin at that moment.
Dermalux uses blue light 415 nm, red light 633 nm, and near infrared 830 nm. These wavelengths can be used individually or in combination, depending on what your skin needs.
This allows us to tailor the treatment for glow, calming, recovery, redness, blemishes, or skin barrier support.

How does Dermalux LED photobiomodulation work?
Dermalux LED therapy uses specific light wavelengths absorbed by the skin. This light energy supports the skin's natural processes, such as repair, renewal, calming, and improving skin condition.
You can compare it to charging a battery. Our skin cells need energy to function properly. Especially red light and near-infrared support the mitochondria, the small energy factories of the cell. When they can work better, the skin can carry out its natural repair processes more effectively.

Blue Light 415 nm

Red Light 633 nm

Near Infrared 830 nm
Near infrared works deeper and is particularly interesting for redness, sensitivity, irritation, and recovery. It helps the skin feel calmer and more comfortable.
Tri-Wave technology. With Tri-Wave, these wavelengths can be combined. This allows us to support multiple skin processes during one treatment: purifying, soothing, repairing, and restoring radiance.

Is Dermalux suitable for everyone?
Dermalux is a safe and gentle treatment, but it is not suitable for everyone.
We do not treat, or only after additional consultation, in cases of certain contraindications such as photosensitive epilepsy, porphyria, lupus, active cancer, use of certain photosensitive medications, severe photosensitivity, recent eye surgeries, or certain eye conditions.
During pregnancy or breastfeeding, we follow safety guidelines, as Dermalux has not been specifically tested for these conditions.

Does the treatment hurt?
No. Dermalux LED therapy is painless and relaxing. You won't feel any stinging, no heat like with laser, and no aggressive sensations.
Is my skin red after the treatment?
Usually not. Some skin types may feel slightly warmer or appear pinker for a short time, but there is no real recovery period.
Can I go about my day right after?
Yes. You can immediately continue your day. We finish the skin with care and SPF.
Is one session enough?
One session is great for a glow boost or maintenance. If you really want to work on redness, impurities, acne-prone skin, pigmentation, sensitivity, or skin aging, we recommend a course of treatments.
Can I combine this with other treatments?
Yes. Dermalux is an excellent maintenance treatment between HydraFacial, microneedling, peels, or other skin-improving treatments. With HydraFacial, you can also book Dermalux as an upgrade.
Is this the same as the LED for HydraFacial?
No. HydraFacial includes a short LED session as standard, but with the Dermalux Cellular Glow Upgrade or this Express treatment, you opt for a more extensive, professional Dermalux LED photobiomodulation session.
Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, often just barely. Dermalux can be very effectively used for redness, sensitivity, and reactive skin. We then choose a customized, soothing program.
