FOUNDERS

Jani: She has worked in advertising for over 20 years and wanted to develop a product that would deliver immediate results. She wanted to create a solution that would minimize pores, provide a healthy glow, and add a touch of colour, without looking overly made-up. Her vision was to produce a natural-looking product that would create an instant "wow" effect.

Jens: Jens has a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences and a strong interest in dermatology. It was crucial for her that Jani's needs were met with a product that would offer long-term skin benefits. Given her desire to minimize the number of steps in a skincare routine, she conducted extensive research to develop a solution that combined multiple active ingredients in one formula. It therefore took over two years to create a product that nourishes, moisturizes, combats signs of aging, and provides a healthy glow.

They spent more than two years developing IOAN because they wanted to create a product that would give the skin the sensation of a golden sunset. This vision led them to develop a formula that would provide a radiant glow and enhance the natural beauty of the face.

Regarding the selection of ingredients, we aim to use a high percentage of natural ingredients, without compromising the effectiveness of our products.
We are constantly developing our formulas, with the aim of incorporating even more natural ingredients. Our approach combines the benefits of science with the benefits of nature.

We are honest and blunt – we don’t beat around the bush.

To minimise waste, we opt for glass packaging over recycled plastic and use recycled packaging for shipments.
Our goal is to produce aesthetically pleasing, functional packaging that can be endlessly reused and recycled.

All development and production processes take place in Belgium, close to our home base.
