Who am I?

Hey! I'm Maarten, nice to meet you!

As a child I followed my mother, who is a hairdresser and beautician, with great interest and I discovered the importance of high-quality, natural and honest products at a young age. So it soon became clear that I would follow in her footsteps.

In 2007 I graduated with great enthusiasm from the Sivo in Antwerp and I have not stopped since then. to continuously improve in renowned dermatological institutes, in order to always be able to offer my customers the best and to be able to care for them with the most modern techniques and most recent developments.

My evolution from beautician to Expert Skin Therapist, Expert Skin Coach and epigenetic skin therapist, for example, ensures that I passion for skin improvement can use to make my clients shine! Would you like to know more about everything you can come to me for? On our blog I go deeper into on my passion for nature, epigenetics, aromatherapy and much more.

During my work experience as Store Manager of ProDuo in Ghent, I got to know many different brands and products and became even more aware of the importance of the composition of products and their effect on our skin and health.

That's not the only thing I learned in Ghent, because I also love with a capital L, aka Nicolas, crossed my path there!

Together Nicolas and I took the plunge and moved to Ypres where we opened our hair salon/beauty institute. This way we could fully focus on our shared passion to make people shine . SkinClinic - Santos Hair was a fact!

From the very beginning it has been our mission to truly improve, make and keep our customers' skin and hair healthy, using quality products and techniques. We aim for a holistic approach, where we work from the inside out to make your skin and hair optimally healthy. That is why I chose RainPharma products.

That nature (and what it has to offer us) is close to our hearts, you will notice immediately when you enter our Urban Jungle store. I am happy to share my love for nature with you and give advice about plants, herbs, natural products and what they can do for your health!
