The sensitive area around the eyes is often one of the first places to show age and needs extra protection against external aggressors. With SPF 30.5* protection, Advanced Day Eye Protect protects sensitive skin against harmful UV rays to limit premature skin aging.
Moringa extract is a breathable protectant that sits on the skin surface around the eyes to provide exceptional protection against pollution and repels free radicals before they can damage the skin.
Carnosine is a multi-tasking dipeptide that protects against both glycation and infrared light. Glycation is a natural aging process in which dietary sugars react with proteins such as collagen, converting them into advanced glycation end products (AGEs) that cannot be renewed, leading to fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. Advanced Day Eye Protect uses carnosine to inhibit the glycation reaction and protect the skin around the eyes against glycation-induced skin aging. Carnosine can also protect the skin from infrared rays, which make up about half of the sun's rays and can play a role in the breakdown of collagen.
Advanced Day Eye Protect contains antioxidant extract of theobroma cocoa seed to reduce the negative effects of blue light from the sun.
